Alexandros Ν. Angelopoulos is CEO of Aldemar Resorts Group in which he has been active since 1994. He studied Business Management and successfully completed his post-graduate studies in International management at Boston College. With a long experience in tourism and entrepreneurship, he is intensively active as he participates in organizations and business associations. He is Vice President B of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association, Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, former Chairman of the Environmental Policy Committee (up until 2018) and Secretary General to the Chamber of Hotels in Heraklion (since 2018). He is Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Council of Competitiveness and of the Committee for the Sustainability Development Center on Governance and Public Law.
At the same time, he participates in the working groups of "Gastronomy Tourism" and "Sustainable Tourism Development", which are initiatives of the Ministry of Tourism. Since 2010 he is Honorary Consulate of Ukraine for Peloponnese. Actively supporting new executives, he collaborates with academic institutions and business activities. In the Academic Years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 he teaches the course "Sustainable Development in Tourism" in the postgraduate program of Bioeconomy, Circular Economy and Sustainable Development of the University of Piraeus.

Ο Αλέξανδρος Ν. Αγγελόπουλος, (1972), είναι Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος στον Όμιλο Aldemar Resorts, στον οποίο δραστηριοποιείται από το 1994. Κάτοχος πτυχίου στη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων και μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου στο Διεθνές Management από το Πανεπιστήμιο της Βοστόνης. Με μακρόχρονη εμπειρία στον τουρισμό και την επιχειρηματικότητα, έχει έντονη δραστηριότητα σε οργανισμούς και επιχειρηματικές ενώσεις. Είναι Αντιπρόεδρος Β’ του ΔΣ της Ελληνικής Ένωσης Επιχειρηματιών (ΕΕΝΕ), Μέλος Δ.Σ. στο Ξενοδοχειακό Επιμελητήριο Ελλάδος, όπου διετέλεσε και Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής Περιβαλλοντικής Πολιτικής (έως το 2018) και Γενικός Γραμματέας στην Ένωση Ξενοδόχων Ηρακλείου, Κρήτης (από το 2018 έως και σήμερα). Είναι Μέλος του ΔΣ του Συμβουλίου Ανταγωνιστικότητας της Ελλάδας και της Επιτροπής του Sustainability Development Center on Governance and Public Law.
Ταυτόχρονα, συμμετέχει στις ομάδες εργασίας «Γαστρονομικού Τουρισμού» και «Βιώσιμης Τουριστικής Ανάπτυξης», πρωτοβουλίες του Υπουργείου Τουρισμού. Από το 2010 είναι Επίτιμος Πρόξενος της Ουκρανίας για την Πελοπόννησο. Στηρίζοντας ενεργά τα νέα στελέχη συνεργάζεται με ακαδημαϊκούς φορείς και επιχειρηματικές δράσεις. Τα Ακαδημαϊκά Έτη 2019-2020 και 2020-2021 διδάσκει το μάθημα «Βιώσιμη Ανάπτυξη στον Τουρισμό» στο μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα Βιοικονομίας, Κυκλικής Οικονομίας και Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιά.
